We become a retirement cliche. . .

Hi Friends and Family. . .

We are in the last of the --getting ready to go-- phase: House sold, movers coming, learning about the RV,  Ray & Joanne arrive and some farewell gatherings. . .

Mike Short at the Ranch helped Chuck and I move the RV and learn more of the ropes. . .a patient and great guy!  We applied our decal to the trailer -- big shout out to David at BockVinylWorks on Etsy.  He really understood the vision and executed it superbly with great instructions!

We met the new homeowners and they are sweet, young and first time buyers who brought us cookies. . . it feels good to turn over our home in their hands.

Some goodbyes have been underway . .  . we  had dinner with JeriAnn/Kenny, Katie, Greg (our amazing Realtor) and his wife Boom. After fellow Boomers Ray & Joanne arrived,   Marilyn came down and joined us for a few days and we all went to Floyd's for one last wonderful evening at the beach house.  Then Janice and Mo hosted a Sunday dinner and a little birthday bash . . . the first of my 70th celebrations. . .  We also dropped off the the kitties with them to settle in at their home while we all trek across the US.

So goodbye for now to our dear friends, the house we loved for the past 21 years, the garden flowers, and the temperate weather!  So much held close and dear in our hearts!!
