Other  Worldly Yellowstone 

Although we are wrapping up our visit with Dave and Mary Dixon this morning,  sing with me now (tune of 'breaking up is hard to do') catching up is hard to do!  So a verbal recap of Yellowstone  with VLOG to follow.  

After the whirlwind one night stays in Nevada, we landed at a bucolic lakeside campground 6 miles outside of the park.  Highlights -- well, the lake,  of course,

• Friendly people who took pity on Chuck trying to scrape bark off wood to make kindling and loaned us a hatchet; 
• 'Pringle Boy',  a young man of remarkable intellect walking around with a choice of three types of Pringles -- he had recommendations.  His name was the actual first name of Julius Caesar. . . no I won't tell. .  who out there actually knows it?
• The unusual fire pit 
• Lots of instructions about things not to do to attract bears

Downside of this one --- horrid internet and awful bathrooms. . . hey it's camping, right?

      

Yellowstone was remarkable, just as God made it. . . and know that baby Bison are insanely cute!  All of the park is amazing and the VLOGS will probably be split in two.  The Grand Canyon of the Park  with its huge falls (and mysterious crow) and Prismatic Lake spectacular high points to be sure.  Photos from Jo and Chuck.
